Lonely Man
Christopher Reeves

Dreaming awake
I see your face.
I die alone without you.
My body is forever falling
into the darkness.
Sinking to the bottom of the sea,
my skin slowly fades away.
Light breaks the surface of the crashing waves
reaching like tentacles trying to...
trying to reach for me
and pull me back to you.

Sleeping
Dying
Awakening
Crying
I've lost you for the last time
I wish my dream would come true
I need to find myself someday
Before I'm lost in you.

Mr. Nobody,
give me one last drink
before I wander through the rain
to that cold and lonely place
where I sit night after night
staring at the walls.
The windows flash with light
while water streaks the pane.
Closed eyes.
dark
I see your face
turned the other way.
Eyes open...
dark
Were you ever really here,
with me?
All alone in this house of empty dreams,
lying on the floor,
staring into your empty eyes.

Sleeping
Dying
Awakening
Crying
I've lost you for the last time
I wish my dream would come true
I need to find myself someday
Before I'm lost in you.
